Lini Shivaprasad

With over 30 years of experience in the field of education and 21 years in leadership roles, Ms Lini has confidently led and inspired both students and staff to achieve their full potential. She joined GEMS in 2000 as a Biology teacher at GEMS Modern Academy and was transferred to The Millennium School, Dubai in 2003 where her circle of influence expanded rapidly as her exemplary leadership skills were recognized. From being an outstanding teacher, to Head of Department of Science, to Supervisor, to Head of Section, and then Vice Principal, her leadership trajectory has been varied and interesting. Ms. Lini has crafted many a success story for TMS, including exemplary academic results year on year, and leading the Dubai Quality Awards committee, to name a few. Through the years at TMS, Ms. Shivaprasad has designed, developed, and strengthened school systems and processes. Her keen focus on academics ensured that the school attained excellent results in grade 10 and 12 CBSE examinations. Students under her tutelage have won several accolades at the National level, including the Hamdan award, Sharjah award, Diana award to name a few. 
 
As an astute decision maker, Ms. Lini is as comfortable with coaching teachers for pedagogical excellence as she is working strategically with student leaders to bring about change from within the system, led by the students themselves. Passionate about community outreach programs that contribute meaningfully to society, she is also an ardent environmental enthusiast.
